Grant application

 

A limited number of grants are available to support participants of the symposium. These grants are funded by the FP6 Coordination Action in Helio- and Asteroseismology (HELAS ; http://www.helas-eu.org).

Priority will be given to PhD students and junior postdocs.

 

 

The grant will consist of a refund of the registration fee and/or the travel and lodging costs upon receipt of the original invoices. Participants thus must arrange to pre-pay these costs and will get them refunded after the symposium from the HELAS budget. Following the rules of the European Commission, we warn in advance : no original invoice means no refund.

 

In order to be eligible, the following conditions must be fulfilled :

grant applicants :

- must register in the HELAS website and in the "Who is Who" option of HELAS

- must submit an abstract for an oral or poster presentation through the
 symposium website before 16 November 2008 ;

- must fill in the form below and send it by email to Natalie.Sas@ster.kuleuven.be
